Pelham NH Business, Wakefield-Vette, Third Fastest Growing Private Company in NH

03.01.13

The PEDC would like to recognize the success of one of our local companies, Wakefield-Vette. Congratulations to the entire team at Wakefield-Vette on being named the Third Fastest Growing Private Company in NH.

Wakefield-Vette designs and manufactures thermal management products and aluminum extrusion. Vette has been continuously expanding its capacity. Their Portsmouth operations were moved to Wakefield’s Pelham headquarters, but it kept Vette’s manufacturing facilities in New York and China. Wakefield-Vette has facilities in North Carolina, Wisconsin and California as well. New products are in the lineup which will bring more growth to the company, possibly at an even faster growth rate.

These expansions have influenced the growth of Wakefield-Vette, and we are proud to have such a continuously successful employer and company in the town of Pelham NH.

Pelham's Saw Mills

During the 18th century, Pelham was not just an agricultural community, but was also home to some of the largest sawmills in the region. Today, evidence of that past is found in the naming of local roads after the mills. [Photo courtesy of www.pelhamhistory.org, Hobbs-Mason Photo Collection.]
